What is Heme dine?

Folk music, folk dance and out door activities in Engerdal

Festival

Heme dine is a festival with focus on folk music and outdoor activities. It's located at Lillerøåsen in Engerdal in the eastern part of Norway, an area which is known for its unique and diverse nature. Our motto is «everything tastes better in the outside» and each summer we present concerts and workshops in a stunning mountainous environment. At Heme dine, you can unplug completely from everyday life and just enjoy nature, meet great people and listen to beautiful music.

Summer camp

We host a summer camp for kids and teenagers at the festival, with courses in folk music, folk dance and outdoor activities. The participants camps out next to the festival area, and get to experience all the wonderful music, dance and activities that are happening during the weekend.

Concert series

In addition to the festival, we also host a concert series in Engerdal throughout the year called Hemom. At these events locals and visitors alike can experience great folk music performed by some of the best musicians in Scandinavia.
